I was raised in the church, and I think because of that when I graduated from high school I ran as far from it as I could. But in my first couple of months into college I felt like God was telling me to come back; come back to Him and come back to church. I chose Covenant because it's not your average church...the services aren't predictable. It has genuine leadership and members. There isn't any of what I like to call "church-ness" to it. It's just a group of people who truly love God and want to worship together. I learned more in my first couple of services at Covenant than I probably learned my whole life being raised in the church. Covenant was just too good for me not to join.
