Apostle John, Caitlin & Pastor Elaine Lofton John Lofton is a man who lives for God without any compromises. It is this lifestyle of love, humility and servant-hood that inspires others who come in contact with him.
He has successfully started men’s fellowship groups in two large ministries, one in Georgia and one in North Carolina. God had something bigger in store and in 2004 he was ordained as an Elder. Sensing that there was so much more that God required of him, he began to seek Him for direction. In January of 2007, he initiated a bible study in his home. It was this bible study that God used to birth Covenant Community Church. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, continued prayer and the words of God, he started Covenant in May of 2007.
Apostle Lofton is passionate about maintaining successful and loving marriages as well as preparing others for marriage and has conducted marriage conferences/boot camps and singles conferences that provide actionable tools that help others understand what a Covenant relationship truly looks like. He so strongly believes in helping single people identify who they are in Christ and how to discern a counterfeit relationship that God has inspired him to write a book entitled “Let’s Get Real” He hopes to have it ready for distribution in 2012.
In September of 2010, the Lord saw fit to ordain him an Apostle. Equipped with a vision, and a unique style of teaching he has been asked to minister to diverse congregations and denominations throughout the East and Southeast portions of the United States. His messages are hard-hitting, powerful, insightful and relevant. He believes that what he does is not just a ministry but a lifestyle.
Apostle Lofton co-pastors Covenant Community Church with his wife of 17 years Elaine. They have two children, Ashley and Caitlin. They reside in Indian Trail, NC, a suburb of Charlotte.
He believes that building peripheral covenant relationships is essential for continued growth for any leader.
