When my wife (Brenda) and I first heard about Covenant C-3, I had to admit we were a little skeptical as to what kind of church it was or what Covenant beliefs were. After continuous effort on the part of Anthony Brown witnessing to my wife at her job, we decided to give Covenant a try. All I have to say is OMG! I attended one of the weekly Bible studies to see what feelings and vibes I would get from the church. Little did I know, it was me that was in for a big surprise. When I arrived at Covenant that Wednesday night I was greeted and accepted with warm and open arms. I cannot explain it to this day but I felt like I belonged to this church already. I felt in my heart that this was where God wanted my family and me to be. Being an interracial couple (Black/White) and having bi-racial children (Michael/Brendan) we had to be aware of the acceptance of our family. I can say truthfully that Covenant made my family, and me feel right at home.

What can I say about Pastor John Lofton, and Pastor Elaine? These two truly anointed people are working in the direct pathway of the Lord. Pastor John has the ability to simplify the most complicated issues and give reference as it is written in the Bible. In the past, I have found myself getting bored with the word of God simply because of the delivery of the message. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people out there that go to Church to receive a powerful message from their spiritual leaders. I can attest that this man is not just a Pastor delivering the word of God; I believe this is a truly anointed man that was sent directly from God to carry out His plan.

I was raised in a Baptist Church, but got away from the word during my adult years. If you want to experience what my family and I have witnessed, I would suggest you make the necessary arrangements and be apart of what is presently taking place at Covenant Community Church, which is truly special. It will change your life as it did for my family and me. From the newly committed Christian, to the seasoned veteran of God, Covenant Community Church has something for you. Come join us as we worship Him and praise His name. You will not leave this Church the same way you came in; I guarantee you that.
